Detroit, Michigan, February 1, 2022 — Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc., ( OTCPK:AITX ), today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Robotic Assistance Devices, Inc. (RAD) has signed SekurCorp as an authorized dealer, and has received an AVA order from this new dealer. SekurCorp is a regional security services provider with offices located in Montreal, Quebec Canada and St. Johnsbury, Vermont.

“We just love signing new channel partners that can help RAD penetrate new markets and opportunities,” said Mark Folmer, President of RAD. “The addition of a forward-looking service provider like SekurCorp to the RAD dealer network is further evidence that RAD has the solutions that the industry is needing right now.”

“We are very impressed with RAD and their approach to autonomous devices,” said Jean-Patrick Lariviere, SekurCorp Group President and Chief Executive Officer. “The end user for the AVA device is transforming their entry gates across North America to operating without a guarding staff. We hope that this first AVA turns into several more.”

“All of North America is suffering from the impacts of the Great Resignation,” said Steve Reinharz, CEO of AITX. “Security companies and their corporate clients are scrambling to place AI-fueled technology where personnel once worked. And a guard at a gate is a perfect example of a job that isn’t necessary in the future. We’ve built AVA to accomplish every useful function that gate guard would perform, and more, for less money,” Reinharz added.

“RAD is starting the month the way we’ve come to expect, with nice new business. We can also expect several more opportunities in our sales pipeline to close this month, and we can close the fiscal year very strong,” Folmer concluded.

AVA is a compact and stanchion mountable unit that provides an edge-to-edge 180° field of vision with advanced access control over gates and other controlled points of entry. AVA takes full advantage of the RAD Software Suite providing an ideal solution for logistics and distribution centers, storage yards, parking structures and lots, corporate campuses; anywhere that increased visibility is needed at a fraction of the cost.

Robotic Assistance Devices (RAD) is a high-tech start-up that delivers robotics and artificial intelligence-based solutions that empower organizations to gain new insight, solve complex security challenges, and fuel new business ideas at reduced costs. RAD developed its advanced security robot technology from the ground up including circuit board design, and base code development. This allows RAD to have complete control over all design elements, performance, quality, and the user’s experience of all security robots whether SCOT™, ROSA™, Wally™, Wally HSO™, AVA™, or ROAMEO™.
