Robotic Assistance Devices, Inc. ("RAD," "we," "us," or "our") is a manufacturer and software developer in the public safety sector, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc. (OTCID: AITX).
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit radsecurity.com (the "Site"), how we use it, who we disclose it to, and the choices and rights you have.
1. Scope
This policy covers the Site. It works alongside our Cookie Policy and our Terms of Service.
This policy does not cover data processed by RAD security devices or services deployed at a customer site. Video, audio, detection events, and incident records generated by RAD products, including SARA Agentic AI, ROAMEO, ROSA, RIO, AVA, RADCAM, and RADGUARD, are handled under the contract between RAD and that customer, and under that customer's own policies. If you have a question about data collected by a RAD device at a specific location, contact the organization that operates the property.
This policy also does not cover third-party sites we link to, or job applications, which are handled by our applicant tracking provider under its own notice.
2. Personal information we collect
Information you provide
We collect information you enter when you choose to give it, such as when you request a demo, contact us, submit a support request, subscribe to a publication, download content, register for an event, or ask for investor information. This usually includes your name, business contact details, company name, job title, country or region, and anything you write in a message field.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our analytics and advertising providers collect identifiers and usage data. This includes your IP address and the general location derived from it, browser and device information, the pages you view and how you move through the Site, the source that referred you including campaign parameters in the URL, the date and time of your visit, and cookie and similar identifiers. We do not seek your precise location.
Information from third parties
We receive information about you from advertising platforms, business data providers, event organizers, and partners who refer you to us.
We also use business-to-business visitor identification services. These services compare signals from your visit against their own databases to determine which company a visitor comes from, and in some cases which individual, even where that visitor has not submitted a form. Where a match is made, we may receive professional contact and employment information about you along with a record of your activity on the Site.
We do not carry out visitor identification for visitors we detect in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. This detection is based on IP address and is not exact. If you believe a record was created about you in error, contact us and we will delete it.
3. How we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to demo requests, sales inquiries, and support requests
- Provide information you asked for, including publications and event notices
- Send marketing communications where permitted, and honor your opt-out
- Route inquiries to the appropriate RAD team member, dealer, or integrator
- Operate, measure, and improve our advertising and our Site
- Maintain the security of the Site, prevent fraud and abuse, and investigate suspicious activity
- Meet legal, regulatory, tax, and accounting obligations, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure traffic and performance, and support advertising and conversion measurement. Our Cookie Policy describes these categories in more detail and explains the controls available to you.
Where required by law, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising for that browser.
5. How we disclose personal information
We do not sell personal information for money. Some US state privacy laws define "sale" and "sharing" more broadly, and treat the advertising and analytics activity described above as covered. We treat it that way and provide the opt-out described in Section 6.
We disclose personal information to:
- Service providers and business partners, including providers of hosting and content delivery, analytics, advertising and conversion measurement, marketing automation and customer relationship management, visitor identification, testing and personalization, security, and professional services. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Dealers and integrators, where your inquiry is best served by a RAD partner in your region.
- Our corporate group, including our parent company, for operational, reporting, and compliance purposes.
- Legal and safety recipients, where disclosure is required by law, subpoena, court order, or regulation, or is reasonably necessary to enforce our Terms of Service, protect the rights, property, or safety of RAD, our visitors, or the public, or investigate fraud or a security incident.
- Parties to a corporate transaction, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
6. Your choices
Regardless of where you live, you can:
- Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message
- Control cookies through your browser settings and the cookie controls on the Site
- Opt out of interest-based advertising through your browser, your device's advertising identifier settings, and the advertising preference controls offered by the platforms you use
- Contact us to ask what we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it
Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the Site work. Opting out of interest-based advertising does not stop you seeing ads. It means they are less likely to be based on your activity.
7. Your rights
The rights available to you depend on where you live and which laws apply.
United States
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws may have the right to confirm whether we process personal information about them, access it, correct it, request deletion, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising and of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require an additional right to limit.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows, and we may ask for proof of that authority. If we decline a request, you may appeal by contacting us using Section 12.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
RAD is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling for direct marketing. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting processing already carried out. You can lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
We process personal information on the following legal bases:

Where we rely on legitimate interests, our interest is in operating, promoting, and securing our business, balanced against your rights.
8. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, then delete it or de-identify it. How long that is depends on the type of information and the purpose. Inquiry and marketing records are kept for the duration of the relationship and a reasonable period afterward. Records we must keep for legal, tax, or accounting reasons are kept for the period the law requires. Records relevant to a legal claim are kept until that matter is resolved.
9. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International transfers
RAD is based in the United States, and personal information is transferred to and processed in the United States. Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or another lawful transfer mechanism. You can request a copy of the safeguards we use.
11. Children
The Site is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If the changes are significant, we will provide additional notice on the Site.
14. Privacy in RAD products
The following describes how RAD designs its security technology. It is separate from the Site practices above and is included because customers ask.
RAD does not deploy facial recognition in its security products, except in an access control solution where an individual has consented to enroll in order to be granted access. RAD products do not conduct passive audio monitoring; audio is used for two-way communication and for voice-down deterrence during an incident response. Where RAD develops sound-detection capability, it is designed to identify sounds associated with property crime and safety events, not to record or interpret conversation. RAD analytics are designed to classify objects, behaviors, and events rather than to identify named individuals.
Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc. maintains a SOC 2 Type 2 attestation covering the systems that support our security services, most recently for the 2026 audit period. The report is issued by an independent auditor and is available to customers and prospects under a confidentiality agreement.
