These MACTracker™ are included in every RAD solution and are now available as a standalone unit through RAD.
MACTracker™ capture MAC addresses from broadcasting devices, such as a smartphone or tablet, up to a 100′ radius, and timestamp and store them in a secure cloud-based database. Every digital device that connects to WiFi or Bluetooth has a unique identifier, commonly referred to as a MAC address. This anonymous label does not identify who owns the device and there are no known privacy concerns related to recording and timestamping MAC addresses. If an event of interest occurs, a client can login to the online platform, query the time frame of the incident on the relevant tracker, and see a list of MAC addresses captured at that time. After selecting the MAC addresses for the “be on the lookout” (BOLO) list, whenever one of them appears anywhere in that network, security personnel will receive a notification, empowering immediate action and resolution.
MACTracker™ system allows security and facility personnel to add a layer of security and engage in predictive, pre-emptive and preventative actions.
