Robotic Assistance Devices Enters Into Discussions For Deployment Agreement For SCOT Units With School District

RENO, NV, May 30, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — On the Move Systems (OMVS: OTCPK) is pleased to announce that Robotic Assistance Devices (RAD), its wholly owned subsidiary, has entered into discussions with a school district for a potential agreement to deploy approximately 15 Security Control and Observation Tower (SCOT™) units over the summer. Recently the company deployed a SCOT™ at one of the schools in the district as per the press release of April 26, 2018.

“We are very pleased to see existing clients looking into expanding their SCOT™ deployments,” said Steve Reinharz, President and CEO of RAD. “SCOT™ appears to be well received by the market and clients seem to understand the value proposition that SCOT™ can bring them.”

RAD is working to expand into the school and academic institutions vertical as part of RAD’s overall market penetration strategy. There are almost 100,000 schools in the U.S. which represents a significant opportunity for RAD. RAD was recently awarded the Secure Campus Award from Campus Security and Life Safety for its SCOT™ solution.

SCOT™ units are deployed at client locations based on a rental program paid monthly and remain the property of the company. Each SCOT™ unit can generate approximately $60,000 of total revenue for the RAD over a four-year period.

SCOT™ is a standalone, remote, portable, self-sufficient intelligence observation tower designed to expand an organization’s security reach instantly. SCOT™ delivers guarding services at a fraction of the cost and is considerably more affordable than any human or automated solution on the market.

SCOT™ is equipped with artificial intelligence that powers human detection analytics, featuring the longest-range detection at low false alarm rates. In addition, SCOT™ debuts the RAD Software Suite, which is a collection of integrated software applications hosted in Microsoft’s Azure Cloud services and allows immediate and mobile access to alerts and controls generated by SCOT™.
