Rene has been managing the Civitas Group for the last 9 years and he is one of the group’s shareholders. He has worked for this group of companies for more than 18 years, previously being involved in IT industry. Starting with 2007 Rene took over the CEO position for one of the group’s company, the one involved in technology, being involved in major projects, most of them related to critical infrastructure protection.
Following the group’s strategy to offer an integrated solution to its customers, Rene was also appointed in 2012 as a CEO for the other company from Civitas Group, the one involved in security guards and alarm monitoring. Thus, since 2012 the entire group has been managed under one umbrella by Rene and his top management team.
The fact that he truly believes in continuous learning is proved by his educational achievements, Rene having an MBA at Open University Business School UK, an Executive Education in Strategy & Organization at Stanford, a Master’s Degree in Risk, Crisis & Resilience Management at Portsmouth University and holding the CPP certification from ASIS International.
Moreover, Rene has been an active member of ASIS International since 2009 and has been serving for the last 4 years as a Chapter Chair for ASIS Romania Chapter 277.
